It seems that Nikon D5100 is quite hot item. Amazon is pretty thin on stock right now and appears to only have availability through third-party vendors at the moment.
B&H Photo has updated its stock status to show the D5100 as “Available for Pre-Order” which generally means that B&H has stock on the way and will be shipping it out in a matter of days. Here’s the link to the D5100 product page at B&H Photo.
B&H Photo has the new Fuji X100 listed available for pre-order, which is the typical signal that they’ll have them in stock and shipping out the door soon.

B&H Photo has the Canon Rebel T3i in stock and ready to ship. Chances are that availability will be spotty for the first few weeks of this camera’s launch, so I’ll be posting occasional updates when it shows up in stock.

Just hours after the Nikon D3X was announced a number of online retailers offered buyers the opportunity to pre-order the camera. Unlike the Canon 5D Mark II, the Nikon D3X will be available shortly after the announcement. Mid-December is what I’m hearing for shipping dates. So, it’s possible that you could have your D3X by Christmas.
