Alien Skin Snap Art 3
Alien Skin recently released its new Snap Art 3 Photoshop plug-in that turns photos into paintings or sketches. Snap Art 3 uses Alien Skin’s new intelligent stroke placement for clean edges and nature stroke patterns.

Sony Cyber-shot TX55 and WX30
Sony has announced a pair of new Cyber-shot models – the TX55 and WX30.
The Sony Cyber-shot TX55 is an ultra-thin 16.2MP camera with a 3.3-inch OLED touch screen display. The TX55 uses Memory Stick Micro or Micro SD cards for storage. It offers a 5x optical zoom and a max sensitivity of ISO 3200. Additionally, the TX55 captures 1920 x 1080 AVCHD video.
The Sony TX55 should be available in September at an initial retail price of $350. You can find it here on Amazon.com.

Sony Cyber-shot WX30
The Sony Cyber-shot WX30 is more of a standard-sized point and shoot model with otherwise similar specifications. The WX30 also sports a 16.2MP Exmor R CMOS sensor, a 5x optical zoom and a max sensitivity of ISO 3200. As with the TX55, the WX30 captures 1080i AVCHD video.
No word yet on US availability for the WX30; however, Sony Europe notes that the WX30 will be available there in September as well.

Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II Lens Also Available in US
It looks like tha Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II lens that was announced outside the US last month will also be coming to the US. Canon USA has the lens listed on its site.
The lens was previously slated to be available in the UK this month. No word yet on pricing; however, the existing version of this lens runs around $180 street at the time of this post. Check availability for the new lens on Amazon.com.
