Blackmagic Cinema Camera and Pocket Cinema Camera Firmware Update News
With all of the recent camera additions from Blackmagic, some users of the original Blackmagic Cinema Camera and the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera have expressed concern over the lack of firmware updates for the cameras and wondering whether Blackmagic will be supporting these cameras going forward.

Tamron’s New 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 DI II VC PZD MACRO Lens Priced, Available in May
Tamron has announced pricing and availability for its new 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 DI II VC PZD MACRO lens. The lens follows the popular 18-270mm model, stretching the focal length at both ends of the zoom range for a 18.8x total zoom range. The new 16-300mm model retails for $629 and should be available mid-May (B&H says on May 15) and is available for pre-order for Canon, Nikon and Sony mounts. Check it out here at B&H Photo.

Sony A7s ISO Comparison
Aside from the 4K capability, one thing everyone is talking about on the new Sony A7S is the new 12MP sensor and the ridiculous low light sensitivity that it delivers.
