Canon Rebel T5i Firmware Ver. 1.1.3 Update
Canon has issued a firmware update for the Rebel T5i.
Firmware Version 1.1.3 incorporates the following fixes.
- Fixes a phenomenon in which the camera displays Err01 or Err60, or in rare instances will lock-up when in Live View shooting mode (or Movie shooting mode) when attached to the following STM zoom lenses: EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM, EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM, EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM.
- Corrects some Korean language misspellings displayed on the menu screen.

A newly-leaked spy shot of a Hasselblad SLR looks to be yet another Sony camera with a fancy facelift. However, this time, the camera looks like an Alpha A-mount camera.

Hasselblad to Launch World’s First Medium Format CMOS Camera, the H5D-50c
Hasselblad is taking a break from its recent nonsenical camera releases to launch a serious camera – the H5D-50c with a 50MP medium format CMOS sensor inside.
The CMOS sensor will allow for a faster capture rate, longer shutter speeds and a “much greater ISO performance,” according to Hasselblad Product Manager Ove Bengtson.
The Hasselblad H5D-50c will be available in March. Further details and pricing info will be available just prior to launch. The current, CCD-based H5D-50 runs for $26,995, so expect the CMOS version to get a moderate price hike.
Samsung NX30, 16-50mm f/2-2.8 & New Speedlight Hands-On
Samsung launched the new NX30 flagship model, alongside its first premium ‘S’ lens, a 16-50mm f/2-2.8 zoom, at CES 2014. The Samsung NX30 remains a 20.3MP APS-C camera (also found in the NX300) with the familiar mirrorless design. The camera boasts some powerful photo-centric features often found in only more advanced (and more expensive) cameras, such as a max 1/8000 shutter speed and a 9fps still image frame rate. Fuji X-T1 Confirmed for January 28
It looks like Fuji will officially unveil the new X-T1 mirrorless camera on January 28 based on this teaser image that appeared on Fuji’s website.
The X-T1 is rumored to support a 16MP APS-C X-Trans sensor and weather sealing. It is expected to be situated between the X-E2 and X-Pro1 cameras.
