Toshiba Announces Exceria UHS-I U3 SD Cards for 4K Video
Toshiba has announced a new line of Exceria SD cards, which are currently available in sizes up to 64GB – with a 128GB model coming in January 2015. The new cards are UHS-I Speed Class 3 cards, which means they provide a minimum write speed of 30MB/s and are capable of recording 4K video on many current 4K cameras.
The new cards also provide read speeds up to 95MB/s and write speeds up to 60MB/s.
Several sizes are available – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB – and range from $59.99 up to $179.99. Check them out here on Amazon.com.

SanDisk Unveils World’s Largest SD Memory Card at 512GB
SanDisk has announced an Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I U3 memory card in a massive 512GB capacity. The new card delivers max write speeds up to 90MB/s and transfer speeds up to 95MB/s. The U3 Speed Class 3 rating means that it will deliver a minimum write speed of 30MB/s, which is required for 4K video capture in cameras like the new Panasonic GH4.
The SanDisk Extreme Pro UHS-I U3 SDXC 512GB card retails for $799.95. The Extreme Pro U3 series is also available in 128GB and 256GB capacities, priced at $189.95 and $359.95, respectively. Check them all out here at B&H Photo.

Canon Drops Prices on Several ‘L’ Lenses
Well, this is a new one. It looks like Canon has dropped the retail prices on several of its L-series lenses. While it is common to see rebate deals pop up throughout the year, it looks like this is just a straight up drop in pricing on these lens models instead of the periodic price raises we’ve seen in recent years.
Hopefully, these new “regular” prices will stick around permanently.

Canon Announces 3 New Wireless Printers

Canon PIXMA MG7520 Wireless Inkjet Photo AIO printer
Canon has added three wireless printers to its PIXMA All-in-One inkjet printer line – the PIXMA MG7520, MG6620, and MG5620 printers. Each of the new models works will Canon’s Easy-PhotoPrint web app for cloud-connected printing. Additionally, the PIXMA Printing Solutions app allows users to print from popular social platforms and services like Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Photobucket, Dropbox and Evernote.
The top-end MG7520 offers a 3.5″ LCD touchscreen and includes Active NFC, which allows users with compatible Android devices to print by touching the device to the printer. The MG6620 offers Passive NFC that allows similar functionality if the device is connected to the same network as the printer.
The PIXMA MG7520, MG6620, and MG5620 printers retail for $199.99, $149.99 and $99.99.
