Current Nikkor 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5D ED-IF Lens
Nikon is rumored to be dropping a new full frame lens at the end of January at the CP+ show in Japan. The new Nikkor 18-35mm f/3.5-f.5G ED lens should be compatible with both FX and DX cameras and will weigh in as the lightest FX zoom in Nikon’s lineup at a mere 400g (or 14 ounces).
Other specs on the rumored lens include a 77mm filter thread with 12 elements in 8 groups. The lens should serve as a proper replacement for the existing 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5D ED lens.
