Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Lens in Development

Tamron has announced development of the SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC lens.

The new lens adds to Tamron’s stable of full frame compatible lenses, along with the SP 24-70mm f/2.8, 70-200mm f/2.8, 90mm f/2.8 Macro and the most recent 150-600mm f/5-6.3 models.

The Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC lens will be available for Canon, Nikon and Sony mounts.

Canon G7 X Leaks Out . . . Finally, a 1″ Sensor from Canon!

An image of Canon’s upcoming G7 X pocket camera has leaked out a couple days early. The new G7 X is rumored to feature a 1″ sensor, which will pit the camera directly against the Sony RX100 line.

SanDisk Unveils World’s Largest SD Memory Card at 512GB

SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I U3 512GB Memory Card

SanDisk has announced an Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I U3 memory card in a massive 512GB capacity. The new card delivers max write speeds up to 90MB/s and transfer speeds up to 95MB/s. The U3 Speed Class 3 rating means that it will deliver a minimum write speed of 30MB/s, which is required for 4K video capture in cameras like the new Panasonic GH4.

The SanDisk Extreme Pro UHS-I U3 SDXC 512GB card retails for $799.95. The Extreme Pro U3 series is also available in 128GB and 256GB capacities, priced at $189.95 and $359.95, respectively. Check them all out here at B&H Photo.
