Tiffen has updated its Dfx Digital Filter software for Adobe Photoshop CS5 and other Creative Suite 5 programs. The plug-ins for Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro CS5 are now fully compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit Mac and Windows platforms.

Sony Alpha Rumors has picked up several screenshots for the LCD of the new Alpha ultra-compact cameras. Nothing super sexy is revealed in the screenshots; however, the cameras are expected to be officially announced on May 11.

Nikon has extended (again) its instant rebate program for DSLRs and lenses. The rebates are now set to last through May 29, 2010.

Remember when creativeLIVE launched earlier this month? There have been a lot of great courses since it launched, but I’m watching Vincent Laforet’s course, “An Introduction to HDDSLR Cinema” right now, and I gotta tell ya, it’s good stuff. It’s also free while it’s live.
