onOne Software has just released Perfect Photo Suite 7.5. There are three editions:
Perfect Photo Suite 7.5 includes the following applications:
onOne Software offers support for Aperture 2.1 and 3, Photoshop CS6, CS5 and CS4, Lightroom 5, 4, 3, 2 and Photoshop CC. All versions are also capable of working as a standalone application.

Adobe recently released a statement acknowledging some of the major complaints surrounding Creative Cloud and Photoshop CC.
In the statement ,Adobe gave particular attention to photographers, who have apparently been the most vocal group among Adobe’s customers dissatisfied with the Creative Cloud offerings. Adobe alludes to an option for the photography community that will be different from what’s already on the table for Creative Cloud apps (i.e., Photoshop and Lightroom subscriptions). [Read more…]

Lightroom product manager Tom Hogarty showed off raw image processing on an iPad on Scott Kelby’s ‘The Grid‘. The winks and nods during the discussion of the app’s features point to Lightroom for the iPad, which seemingly extends beyond just raw processing and also permits you to organize your library.
While they don’t show off the organization features in the early-build of the app, it appears that it will rely heavily on a cloud connection in order to sync the Lightroom library across devices. Check out the video below (the iPad Lightroom talk kicks off around 19mins). [Read more…]

Adobe should be releasing Lightroom 5 as a free beta any day now based on the early release of an article on TechCrunch (which was quickly taken down).
I expect to see the announcement later this week at the Photoshop World opening keynote, which takes place on Wednesday, April 17, at 9AM ET. Adobe is well-known for dropping big news at Photoshop World openers, and it looks like this one got a bit ahead of them. [Read more…]

Adobe has released final versions of Lightroom 4.4 and Camera Raw 7.4, which are now available on Adobe.com.
Part of the update includes improved demosaic algorithm for better raw file support on cameras with X-Trans sensors – the X-Pro1, X100S, X-E1 and X20.
